Theater, circus, and dance workshops: Book your family summer vacation now!

Do you dream of a family vacation that’s out of the ordinary, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea? Imagine your children juggling under the open sky in Sète, the whole family taking the stage together, and every evening over dinner, endless laughter about the daring things we did that day… This summer, the Domaine du Lazaret offers you much more than just a beach vacation: a unique artistic and social experience.

“Moment Collectif Artistique” is a program of theater, circus, and dance workshops exclusively for guests staying at the Domaine du Lazaret.

Unique activities for your family vacation: theater, circus, and dance

Every week this summer, a team of professional artists sets up shop at the Domaine du Lazaret to lead workshops open to everyone ages 8 and up. You don’t need to have any prior experience with dance or circus arts—here, you come as you are, and you leave having grown as a person.

The workshops are held Monday through Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (see the schedule)

Theater and Physical Expression

Much more than just learning to “act,” theater is a wonderful way to build self-confidence and improve public speaking skills. Through improvisation exercises, mime, and acting, everyone learns to express themselves through their body, emotions, and voice—without fear of how others might perceive them. A real treat for shy kids… and for adults who are still shy!

Juggling, balancing, and acrobatics

Circus arts are, above all, a wonderful lesson in perseverance: you fail, you try again, and then you succeed—and the pride that follows is immense. These practices also help develop coordination, concentration, and a sense ofbalance—both physical and mental. Above all, they show everyone that they are capable of much more than they ever thought.

Dance and Group Choreography

Dancing together means learning to listen to one another, to adapt, and to find your place in a group without losing your individuality. Dancing fosters creativity, a sense of rhythm, and that precious ability to let go—to inhabit one’s body with joy and lightness. Collective choreography, on the other hand, teaches us something that few other activities do: that something beautiful can only exist if everyone contributes in their own way.

And on Friday evening, it’s the big moment: a final presentation in front of the families and other vacationers at the resort. A real performance that your kids (and you!) will be so proud of!

The workshops are open exclusively to residents of the estate. To take part, simply book your stay for the week of your choice!
