From July 14 to 17, the Domaine du Lazaret in Sète will host an exceptional program curated by the Chanson Contemporaine association as part of the “Sept jours sur Sète” festival. For four days, music, singing, local crafts, and a warm, friendly atmosphere will take center stage in a unique setting overlooking the Mediterranean.
Whether you’re a fan of French music, curious to discover new artists, passionate about local talent, or simply looking for a fun summer outing in Sète, this lineup is for you.
Tuesday, July 14: An evening of music, soccer, and fireworks
From 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.: “From Verses to Glasses”
Le coup d’envoi des festivités sera donné le mardi 14 juillet, de 18h30 à 20h30, avec De vers en verres, une animation gratuite ouverte à toutes et tous.
Les participants apprendront à interpréter le titre “Libre” d’Angèle, accompagnés par un chef de chœur professionnel, avant de poursuivre la soirée avec un karaoké live animé par deux musiciens.
Aucun niveau n’est requis : chanteurs confirmés, amateurs ou simples curieux sont invités à partager ce moment convivial autour d’un verre, avec la Méditerranée en toile de fond.
La soirée se prolongera avec la retransmission du match de Coupe du Monde opposant la France à l’Espagne, diffusé au bar du Domaine.
Enfin, les visiteurs profiteront d’un point de vue privilégié pour admirer le feu d’artifice du 14 juillet proposé par la Ville de Sète.

Thursday, July 16: The Local Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market
From 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.: a market featuring local farmers and artisans.
This local market brings together passionate artisans and producers. The market features Bardem Père et Fils for its artisanal honey, as well as Maguyrose, a specialist in wood pyrography. As for treats, Le Lazaret offers zézettes, croquants, and muscat, while Les Trois Mazets delights wine lovers. For sustainable fashion and accessories, Silibiliz makes bags and totes from tarps collected at events in Sète, while Kikiland dresses people of all ages with its screen-printed T-shirts and posters. Eco-design is also in the spotlight with loopfactory.fr, an eco-conscious designer, Ofilenchanté and its erasable fabric coloring books, and Graphite_conception for its handmade notebooks and bookmarks.
The market also features designers with unique styles: Créasillons transforms recycled vinyl into original objects, La Jeannette 34 offers handmade baskets and fishing bags, and DJ Piroulis will delight record collectors with his selection of vinyl records, which can be found on Instagram and Facebook. A must-attend event to discover local craftsmanship and support the region’s artisans!

Starting at 9:30 p.m., the spotlight turns to the emerging scene with ALLIVM and HYL, two artists who blend song, rap, slam, and electronic music into sensitive and decidedly contemporary soundscapes.
ALLIVM
Blending rap, slam poetry, and modern song, ALLIVM creates a unique artistic world in which lyrics take center stage. Combining emotion, poetry, and energy, his writing is at times reminiscent of Grand Corps Malade, Stromae, or even Zaho de Sagazan, while still asserting a deeply personal identity.
HYL
Blending pop, rap, and electronic music, HYL delivers bright and heartfelt songs. His style is reminiscent of Orelsan, Gaël Faye, or Thérapie TAXI, blending catchy melodies with sensitive lyrics.

Friday, July 17: “A Different Path Than Theirs,” the grand concert featuring 300 choir members
Starting at 9:00 p.m.: A special concert featuring 300 choir members aged 8 to 88.
Les Sept jours sur Sète se termineront en beauté avec “Une autre route qu’eux”, un concert exceptionnel réunissant 300 choristes de 8 à 88 ans.
Au programme, un voyage musical entre Brassens, Brel, Stromae, Suzane, Gaël Faye et Ben Mazué, porté par la puissance de centaines de voix réunies.
Un moment de partage et d’émotion qui viendra clôturer cette semaine polyphonique organisée par Chanson Contemporaine.
