Located in Sète, the Domaine du Lazaret boasts a unique location: right on the seafront, facing the Lazaret beach. More than just a hotel-restaurant, we also offer modern, flexible meeting rooms, suitable for companies, associations, NGOs and local partners. Solidarity screening with SOS MEDITERRANEE (29/08/25)

On August 29, 2025, we are hosting a film screening organized by the SOS MEDITERRANEE association.
This NGO has been working for years to save lives in the Mediterranean Sea and raises public awareness through meetings and screenings.

Hosting this event in our halls is a concrete way for us to support an essential humanitarian cause, to offer a convivial venue for raising awareness and exchanging ideas, and to strengthen our roots in the community life of Sétoise.

In the middle of the Mediterranean, the crew of theOcean Viking, the rescue ship chartered by SOS MEDITERRANEE, are rescuing exiled people crammed onto makeshift boats, fleeing Libya. Once rescued and welcomed on board, the survivors receive first aid and are then accompanied to a safe port. On this boat, like a refuge within a refuge, is the Women’s Shelter, a listening and care center reserved exclusively for women and children.

To ensure that exiles in distress are rescued, in the name of respect for human rights and maritime law, tug-of-war between authorities and humanitarians takes place every day in the central Mediterranean.

Following the screening, a debate will be led by volunteers from the Hérault-Gard branch of SOS MEDITERRANEE. Hérault-Gard branch of SOS MEDITERRANEE.

Win-win partnership with Les Z’ateliers de Géraldine

Our commitment also extends to creative, reciprocal partnerships. For example, we work with Géraldine Sidobre, who offers her professional services in exchange for the use of our rooms for a specific period of time.

A collaboration that began 4 years ago, starting with the organization of summer shows in conjunction with Le Lazaret’s entertainment team, aimed at both Le Lazaret holidaymakers and Sétois residents.

benefit froma stable and inspiring venue to develop their theater activity, while extending their actions to different audiences. For participants, children and adults alike, it’s an opportunity to enjoy rich theatrical experiences in a unique setting.

This exchange model perfectly illustrates our philosophy: sharing skills,helping each other (with professionals and associations) and fostering a balanced, lasting relationship.

Above all, I was motivated by the possibility of anchoring my association Les Z’Ateliers de Géraldine in an open, friendly environment that embodies strong human values. Le Lazaret provides the space I need to run my theater workshops for children throughout the year, and more recently to open an adult theater workshop (June 2025), to which the staff of Le Lazaret have also been invited.
