Le Lazaret is located exactly on the signposted cycle route through the town and on the 12km greenway that runs alongsidethe beaches. So there’s no need for a detour!

Cycling around Sète

In addition to the main signposted routes, which you can of course use in the sections of your choice, the city and region offer a wide range of facilities…

There are two signposted cycle routes through Sète:
One bypasses the town to the north, on the Etang de Thau side. The other is to the south, on the seafront, where you can join the Voie Verte du Lido. A connecting route between these two routes is proposed.

In addition, a Voie Verte with smooth asphalt has been created between Sète and Marseillan.
This road follows the cycle path that runs along the Corniche in Sète. It starts at Port des Quilles, runs along the beaches for 12 km and ends at Hôtel Les Dunes in Marseillan Plage, then continues along a cycle path in Marseillan Plage..

Domaine du Lazaret: an unmissable stopover

For cycling enthusiasts, Le Lazaret is directly on 2 major signposted routes:

  • The Canal des 2 mers by bike, from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean: 750 km (Canal du Midi, Canal de Garonne)
  • The Mediterranean by bike: 850 km from Le Perthus to Menton
