The Lazaret, created in 1865…
by the Protestant community of Sète, is managed by an association under the French law of 1901, whose aim is to develop social and family tourism. We welcome groups, sessions, families and individuals all year round. An oratory is available for debates, conferences, screenings and religious celebrations. The land is owned by the Fondation du Protestantisme, enabling you to make a donation or bequest while benefiting from tax incentives.
Like all foundations recognized as being of public interest, the Foundation enables its donors to benefit from two specific tax provisions: any payment made to the Foundation leads to the issue of a tax receipt enabling :
- This means a reduction in personal income tax equal to 66% of the donation, up to a limit of 20% of taxable income. (For donations made by companies, the corporate tax reduction is equal to 60% of the payment, up to a limit of 5 per thousand of the company’s pre-tax turnover),
- Or a deduction from the amount due for wealth tax, equal to 75% of the cash donation, up to a limit of €50,000 per year.
